Price of gold reaches Rs 94,000

In the gold and silver market, the price of gold has increased by Rs 100 per tola (11.7 grams; measurement unit used in Nepal and India) to reach Rs 94,000 today. Gold had been traded at Rs 93,900 on the previous day.

According to the details made public by the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the price of 'Tejabi' gold has been fixed at Rs 93,500 per ounce today. The price was set at Rs 93,400 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, the price of silver today remained stable at Rs 1,280 per tola as compared to the previous trading price, according to the federation. The federation has been fixing daily trading prices here on the basis of changes in gold and silver prices in the international market. Gold is being traded at around $1,824 per ounce in the international market today.
