Nine more persons died of COVID-19 in Kailali district in the past 24 hours.
According to the officials, six patients died in Seti Provincial Hospital, two in Tikapur Hospital and one in-home isolation.
Information Officer of Seti Hospital Dilip Kumar Shrestha said that a 62-year-old woman and an 87-year-old woman of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3 and a 42-year-old man of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18 died in the past 24 hours.
Similarly, a 52-year-old man of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-4, a 37-year-old man of Ghodaghodi Municipality-10 and a 33-year-old man of Kanchanpur district also died in Dhangadhi while receiving treatment for coronavirus infection.
Information Officer of District Administration Office Shivaraj Joshi said that a 63-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman of Tikarpur Municipality succumbed to the virus.
