As the conflict continues in Ukraine, Nepalese in the country are continuing to flee to various neighboring countries.

In the midst of the chaos in Ukraine, 34 Nepali war victims have reached Madrid, Spain. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), has arranged food and sleep for them, according to the organization. The train to Portugal was arranged and accommodation was also arranged as per the wishes of the Nepalese who reached Madrid. Similarly, the Nepalese Help Desk at the Ukraine-Poland Medyka border has continued to provide assistance to Nepalese arriving from Ukraine.

This kind of assistance has been provided to the Nepalese people who have reached the Medyka border of Poland after passing through a very difficult and risky journey to save their lives due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

In order to help the suffering Nepalese, on the first day of their arrival in Nepal, the Nepali Public Relations Committee Poland organized "Ukraine-Poland Medyka Border Nepali Help Desk". They are providing free transportation to various cities in Poland, as well as free accommodation and food.

Similarly, the help desk has stated that it is continuing the work of disseminating and coordinating information. Overcoming the fatigue, sorrow and suffering of weeks, Nepalese continue to reach new places in extremely cold weather. According to the victims, they were very much relieved to see people from Nepal at the border.

The help desk has received thousands of calls from the victims as well as their families. According to the latest report, the communication of 450 people was coordinated.

Similarly, 140 people were provided free accommodation and 105 people were provided free food for one week. They were given health counseling as well as psychological consultation. Similarly, warm clothes were distributed to them and passports of Nepalese who lost theirs were also found and handed over.

Nepalese affected by the war have also reached Romania. However, it is not possible for Nepalese who have arrived there to go to the Schengen countries without a visa. Similarly, living in Romania is not easy. As the state of emergency in Romania had ended on March 8, Nepal's honorary consulate to Romania, Nawaraj Pokharel, had warned to be careful if such a situation were to arise again.
