Former Minister Bhattarai donates Rs 1 lakh for capacity building of journalists

CPN (UML) party leader and former Tourism Minister Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has provided Rs one lakh for the capacity development of journalists in Taplejung district.

The amount was handed over at a press meet organised by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Taplejung Chapter today.

The amount will be spent to further develop the capacity of professional journalists in the district, said Ananda Gautam, president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists.

Bhattarai has been providing support for the development of journalists in Taplejung district since the past few years.
