Police arrested a man on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality of Morang district.
The arrested has been identified as Rajesh Sah, an employee at Drishti Chasmaghar in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-1 in Morang.
The relatives of the victim lodged an FIR with police against Sah alleging that Sah raped the teenager, according to Pathari-based Area Police Office (APO).
The victim's family and the accused have been living in rented rooms of the same house, police said and added that Sah raped the girl showing her a pornographic video when there was nobody at home.
Meanwhile, police have take Sah into police custody while the investigation into the case is underway. Police are also trying to ascertain whether Sah is an ophthalmologist which he claims to be, police informed.
