The government has decided to allow four regular international flights to four destinations — India, China, Qatar and Turkey.

Now there will be seven regular flights per week to these four countries. The decision to allow regular international flights to these destinations was taken by the Council of Ministers. Prior to this, two weekly flights were being conducted as per the air bubble agreement between Nepal and India.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Turkish Airlines has already received permission to conduct a flight on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a Chinese airline company and Himalaya Airlines have received permission to conduct one regular flight a week to China. Similarly, Qatar Airways and Nepal Airlines Corporation have received permission to operate one weekly flight to Doha of Qatar.
