The 75 Street, BroadWay and Woodside in Queens Borough, New York State, USA, has been named after Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, the first man to set foot at the world's highest mountain Sagarmatha or Mount Everest.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire and Deputy Speaker Indira Ranamagar have congratulated Hari Budhamagar, a double amputee who successfully scaled Sagarmatha (Mt Everest). He scaled the world's highest peak on May 19.
More than 400 climbers have got the permit for Sagarmatha climbing in the wake of the Spring Season. The Tourism Department informed us that 463 climbers from 42 groups took the climbing permit so far.
