Tarai region

The monsoon weather system has its influence in the eastern and central parts of the country at present.

The monsoon is to remain active throughout the country next week.

Most parts of the country will witness rainfall for a week as the monsoon will become more active with the monsoon low-pressure trough reaches near Tarai region, said the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The monsoon would be active from coming Thursday.

The weather remained generally completely cloudy throughout the country in the last three days causing light to moderate rainfall in most places and even heavy/very heavy rain at few places.
