An agreement has been reached between the KMC school administration and Rama Rayamajhi's family.
Rama, who worked in the school canteen, was found hanging in the school hostel on Saturday evening. Her family and relatives had staged a protest on the school premises on Sunday morning.
During a talk on Sunday, it was agreed that the school will have to pay Rs 800,000 as compensation.
According to SP Dinesh Raj Mainali of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, the legal process has already started.
