KATHMANDU: The Global Conclave of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) will be commencing in Kathmandu tomorrow (October 27).
The two-day event will be held under the theme of "Transformation and Unity: Labour, Investment and the Continuity of Citizenship".
According to NRNA International Coordination Council, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the Conclave which will be attended by over 500 representatives from home and abroad.
It will feature seven plenary sessions on various topics: infrastructure development for economic reformation in Nepal, NRN Nepali Citizenship, Franchise and Gorkha; Foreign Citizens of Nepali Origin, Impact of Climate Change on Women and Children, Empowering Overseas Youths in Nation Building, Ensuring Safe, Systematic, and Dignified Foreign Employment and Social Security, Nepal Tourism Promotion Policy: Expectations, Challenges, and the Role of NRNs.
