Kathmandu Metropolitan City has sealed the Kota Dhuku Oil Store in Balaju.
Chief Superintendent of Police Rajunath Pandey informed that the oil store was sealed today because it did not meet the standards for selling petroleum products. The pump was operating from the shutter of the house.
In Kathmandu and Lalitpur Metropolitan City, if the area is 750 square meters or 1 ropani 8 anas land, the pump can be operated. It should have at least 20 meters of clearance towards the road. The criteria of the selling point should be fulfilled along with the physical infrastructure.
Vehicle parking facilities, toilets, first aid, fire protection and other systems are mandatory.
