Burglary worth Rs 6.5 million, five Indians held

 The jewelries and cash combined which worth Rs 6.5 million were looted from a house of Dilmaya Alemagar from Makalbari, Gokarneshwor municipality-4, Kathmandu.

Superintendent of Police at Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Rabindra Regmi, informed that five Indian nationals were arrested in this connection after the victim Alemagar filed a complaint.

The break-in was committed in the pretext of garbage collection on February 11. They had broken door and made away with the cash and jewelries.

The burglars were made public on Thursday.

The investigation revealed that the arrested ones had stolen gold and cash amounting Rs 2.5 million from a house of Dinesh Ghimire, Budhanilakantha, Kathmandu.

The police also informed that it confiscated jewelries and cash worth Rs 410 thousands from a house of Gita Rai, a residence of Gokarneshwor municipality.
