Nepali Congress officials are holding internal discussions today. A meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar is discussing the agenda of the Central Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday.
A discussion was held by party members except the Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba at the party's central office in Sanepa on Tuesday. Joint General Minister Badri Pandey informed that discussions are going on among the office bearers today in the presence of the chairperson regarding the preparations for the meeting of the Central Working Committee.
He also informed that an agenda has been set for the meeting to discuss issues related to expired fraternal and goodwill organizations, district working committee pending convention, preparation for local level election and other issues.
The Congress currently has a president, two vice presidents, two general secretaries, eight joint general secretaries and a spokesperson.
