The government has requested not to rent a room, apartment, and house without an identity card.

After the foreign nationals infiltrated and started living in Nepal, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) issued a notice requesting not to rent a house or room to a person without an identity card.

Foreign nationals are entering Nepal illegally and staying in Nepal without an identity card, reads a notice issued by MoHA's Spokesperson Farindramani Pokharel.

The notice further states that not to rent a house, apartment, or room to anyone without an identity card and not to employ such people.

MoHA made the request after knowing that 11 Afghani nationals were hiding in Sinamangal, Kathmandu who came to Nepal via the Indian route.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested 11 Afghani nationals from Sinamangal in Kathmandu district today morning.

CBI has handed over them to the Department of Immigration for further action.
