The fire that broke out in the store of the Social Welfare Council at Bhrikutimanda on Wednesday started again on Thursday. The spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh Rathore said that the fire was brought under control after the smoke started rising on Thursday morning.
Rathore said that the fire was started from the remaining fire but no major damage was caused. Smoke was seen from the place where the fire started at around 6.30 in the morning. At present, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been deployed at the spot.
A fire engine and a water tanker from Kathmandu Metropolitan City are being used to put out the fire.
