The 'City Mall' in Sundhara of Kathmandu, which has the investment of Ichchha Raj Tamang and others in jail on the charge of banking malpractice by the Employees' Provident Fund, is going to be auctioned.
The fund has published a notice today for the auction of 132 shops and cabals.
A notice has been published for the auction of 82,095 square feet of shops built on six ropanis of land in Sundhara-11 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The fund has published 35 days notice and requested the interested bidders to apply.
It has been clarified in the auction notice that the borrower of the fund has violated the terms and conditions mentioned in the loan agreement by not repaying the loan within the time limit. Detailed information of shops and cables can be obtained by contacting the fund.
The bidders are requested to deposit at least 10 percent of the pledged amount in the current account of the fund at Nepal Investment Bank, Pulchowk. Keshav Lal Shrestha and Praveen Mukhiya are the managers of the fund along with Tamang. Lal Kaji Gurung, Ram Krishna Poudel, Harihar Prasad Lamichhane, Praveen Prasad Pradhan and Sumanandan Vaidya are the personal guarantors of the loan.
