Grande Int'l Hospital starts outreach to collect swab for PCR test

Grande International Hospital has started outreach to collect swab specimen from households for the PCR test.

The hospital has been operating its own laboratory for PCR tests following the surge of cases in the second wave of COVID-19. 

The hospital's staff will visit the households to collect swab specimen between 10:00 am to 10:00 am, according to the general manager at Grande International Hospital, Bikash Singh. The hospital has also made arrangement for online payment for the outreach services of PCR tests, Singh informed and added that the hospital's lab that came into operation from Wednesday last week will send the PCR reports through email.

The Grande International Hospital has set Rs 500 as a fee for each PCR test. There is an addition of another Rs 500 for the test through outreach service. Although the government has set around Rs 2,000 for the PCR test, the hospital is providing the service at a cheaper price.

It has been reported that the hospital will be offering a concession on the PCR test till June 14.

The hospital conducts PCR test from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm from Sunday to Friday while the lab remains open till 12 O'clock on Saturday.
