Health Ministry urges all to take Covishield vaccine without any worry

Joint spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari has said that the Covishield vaccine has only minor side effects.

He added that the vaccinated persons may witness normal side effects with slight reddish rash, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, and joint pains but these reactions are temporary and they vanish within a few hours or days.

Dr Adhikari further said that no serious and long-term effects are found so far however, a medical team has been mobilised to monitor any possible effect on the vaccinated persons. He urged all to be fear-free to take the vaccination.

According to Adhikari, 46 thousand 197 people have received vaccination services from 169 vaccination centers in the country so far.
