Heli Everest's helicopter has made an emergency landing at the Dhaulagiri Himal base camp in Myagdi. At 11 am on Sunday morning, the helicopter flew towards the base camp from Takam, Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality of the district, and made an emergency landing shortly after.
Chief District Officer of Myagdi, Tulsiram Paudel, informed that a 'helicopter force landing' was carried out. An NN-ANB (AS-350) helicopter of Heliair has crashed.
Captain Priya Adhikari and guide Pasang were in the said helicopter.
The chief district officer informed that there were two people in that flight, a pilot and a guide, and they were rescued by another helicopter and taken to Pokhara and their health condition is normal.
The world's seventh (8,167) meter high Dhaulagiri Himal is located in Dhaulagiri rural municipality-4 of Myagdi. Contact was lost at 11:11 am on Sunday morning.
