Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud has said inconsiderate comments dishonor foreign relations.
He urged all to be alert against the inconsiderate comments on the issues of neighboring countries and their relations with them.
At a program organized by Martyr Radheshyam Jhonchhe Memorial Foundation in Bhaktapur on Friday, the Foreign Minister shared that no one should make any comment spoiling the relations between the two countries.
Stating that the government should speak on foreign policy only after carrying out a deep study, he clarified that they, during the recent India visit of the Prime Minister, did not speak on any issue without any study.
Foreign Minister Saud mentioned, "We did not visit India's parliament building and did not see a map incorporating Nepal's territory."
Power balance as well as relations between the two countries would be spoiled while commenting with random thoughts, he argued.
At a time when India had officially clarified that the mural was not a political issue, it is not good to comment on it in an inconsiderate manner that hurts bilateral relations. Random thoughts do not advance foreign policy, he added.
He reminded that development partnerships were forwarded with the two neighbors and developed countries based on balanced foreign policy.
