The chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur will be holding a meeting today. The meeting has been scheduled for 3 pm.
The chief district officers will be taking a decision on changing the modality of the prohibitory order that has been imposed in the valley. The meeting is likely to take a decision to allow grocery shops and department stores that have been asked to close down at present to reopen when the present prohibitory order comes to an end.
The chief district officers are also likely to allow construction activities to take place.
The prohibitory order which had been extended recently will be over at midnight on June 3. It has been reported that the prohibitory will be extended again. The situation at the moment does not allow for the order to be totally lifted at the moment as per the chief district officers.
