Public jeeps and microbuses operating from within Kathmandu to various districts outside the valley have been operated from the new bus park from today.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to organize long, medium and short distance vehicles from today in the new bus park to organize the public vehicles in the valley. In implementation of the same decision, jeeps and microbuses have been operated from within the new bus park from today.
The metropolis has removed the haphazardly operating ticket counters in the ring road area since this morning. About 2000 public transports operating outside the valley daily will operate from inside the bus park.
The new bus park, spread over an area of 161 ropani, has the capacity to store more than 800 public vehicles.
