More voters from the rural areas than the urban areas in Kathmandu Valley for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.
Mandira Shahi, Election Officer of Kathmandu District Constituency No. 3 informed that even though the enthusiasm of the voters was not seen in the area in the previous local-level elections, the numbers have increased.
According to the Constituency Officer's office, polling officer Shahi has informed that around 50 percent have voted.
This year, the counting of votes will also be done in all areas. All preparations including security for the counting of votes have been completed. It is said that the report of the election will be submitted only after the counting of the proportional votes.
