General Secretary of Nepali Congress Bishwo Prakash Sharma has said time has come for the political parties to build nation rather than engrossing on mission-2084.
Inaugurating the 14th municipal convention of Bhaktapur municipal committee of the party, General Secretary Sharma argued some political parties and leaders were mocking democracy by sloganeering the mission-2084.
"It is not time to worry over the election, but over the nation. We have been regularly holding the elections since 2046. We need to concentrate on a common national agenda instead of sloganeering mission-2084," he underscored.
The country must run on the basis of law and values, but we failed to learn from the past mistakes, he said, adding, "It was complained that the leaders and cadres of NC from centre to local levels were digressing from ideology and values."
He further viewed NC would not compromise nationality and parliamentary system.
