Newly appointed ambassadors of five different countries to Nepal have submitted their letters of credence to President Ramchandra Paudel.
Residential ambassadors of Switzerland and the European Union and non-residential ambassadors of the Kingdom of Sweden, Hungary and the Czech Republic presented their credentials at a special ceremony held at the Office of the President on Thursday.
According to the Office of the President, the newly appointed residential ambassadors of Switzerland and the European Union are Danielle Meuwly Monteleone and Lorenzo Veronique respectively.
Likewise, Jan Thesleff, István Szabó and Dr. Eliśka Žigová have been appointed as non-residential ambassadors of the Kingdom of Sweden, Hungary and Czech Republic respectively.
Also present at the ceremony were Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud and high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal.
