The Kathmandu Valley administrations have removed the odd-even number (bus, microbus and three-wheeler) scheme imposed earlier in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus. The meeting of the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur on Friday lifted the odd-even scheme.

However, this scheme remains effective in the case of private vehicles including two-wheelers and taxis, according to the meeting decision.

The odd-even number scheme is not enforced on the vehicles used for essential service.
