One held with drugs in bus en route to Kathmandu

Police at Nagdhunga Check Post Monday arrested a youth along with a package of controlled pharmaceutical drugs he had possessed on the bus bound for Kathmandu.

The arrested has been identified as Ritesh Kumar Singh (27) of Rajgadh Rural Municipality-2, Saptari district. 

Security personnel deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector (MPS) based in Chandragiri Municipality-2, Kathmandu arrested Singh at the entry point of Kathmandu after confiscating 90 tablets of Nitravet and 140 tablets of spasmo from his possession.

Singh was said to be travelling on the bus (Ko O3-03-001 Kha 0042) en route from Rajbiraj to Kathmandu.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
