Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepal Socialist Party (NSP) Chairperson Dr. Baburam Bhattarai had a meeting on Saturday.
At a meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, the two leaders discussed the matters related to the merger of both the parties, the vote of confidence to the government, and the formation of provincial governments, informed NSP leader Ganga Narayan Shrestha.
According to leader Shrestha, preparation for the merger of CPN (MC) and NSP has almost been completed.
It may be noted that Dr. Bhattarai who was the senior vice-chairperson of the Maoist Party had relinquished the party to form another party Naya Shakti Party under his leadership seven years ago. Now he is the chairperson of NSP. ---
