Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday inaugurated the recently renovated Sarveshwar Mahadev Temple in Lalitpur district.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba and his spouse Arzu Rana performed pooja (worship) to Banglamukhi Goddess and Unmatta Bhairav on the temple premises.

PM Deuba and his spouse Rana received Rudraksha garlands as the Prasad from main priest Madhav Shyam Sharma.

The five-storey temple was damaged by the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake. Though the renovation bid of the temple was completed one-and-half months back, the temple was inaugurated today following the special date and hour.

The temple was renovated at a total cost of 28.5 million rupees.
