Press Chautari of Bhaktapur provided essential medical supplies to journalists on Saturday and Sunday in Bhaktapur district.
Press Chautari and Humanitarian Faith Nepal provided medical supplies like masks, hand sanitiser, and face shields to more than 50 working journalists, informed Hemraj Dhakal, coordinator of Press Chautari, Bhaktapur.
On the occasion, CPN (UML) Bhaktapur District Committee Chairman, Bachan Deuja, said that journalists working on the frontlines need to be safe from the coronavirus and advised the journalists to work safely by prioritising their health.
