The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has started vaccinating the students in the age group of 12 to 17 years, who previously missed the vaccination campaign, from today.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has designated Philanthropic Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital and Birendra Sainik Hospital for the vaccination program. According to the Metropolitan's Education Officer Ram Prasad Subedi, students of the same age group who were left out in the previous campaign will be able to get vaccinated by coordinating with their schools, nearby health centers and community health clinics.

Schools across the country are currently closed due to the epidemic. Although schools have been opened for the vaccination programs, KMC has requested all the schools to continue the classes through online medium.
