Korean Embassy in Nepal, together with Nepal Tourism Tracking Management Association conducted training for Korean counterparts Nepalese travel industry (guides, potters, cooks) on prevention of mountain safety accidents such as high-mountain disease and response to mountain natural disasters such as snowfall, snowfall, heavy rain.
This training was attended by Park Jong-seok, Ambassador to Nepal and Dananjay Regmi, the Director of Tourism of Nepal attended and encouraged, and Choi Il-su, the Vice President of the Korean People's Association, gave a lecture on tips for Korean tourists and visitors to Nepalese tourism industry.
Similarly the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal, together with KTTOAN (Korea Tours and Trekking Operator Association of Nepal), organized safety training for tours and trekking operators who provide services to Korean tourists and climbers. The mountain safety training program was about how to deal with accidents including altitude sickness and how to respond to natural disasters in the mountains such as avalanches, heavy snow, and heavy rain.
