Seven gamblers held in Kalanki

Police arrested seven people involved in gambling offences from Kalanki in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14.

One of the arrested has been identified as Resham Shrestha (25) of Sallanghat in Dhading district while the names of the other six have not been disclosed.

Kalimati-based Metropolitan Police Circle personnel nabbed them from Shrestha's restaurant on Monday evening.

The police also recovered Rs 17,000 and seized three decks of cards from their possession.

Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
