Purnaman Shrestha has obtained the first doctorate degree from Midwestern University. Shrestha, a researcher of the first batch, has obtained the degree in the doctoral program conducted under the office of the Dean of the Faculty of Management.
A resident of Birendranagar-5 of Surkhet, he is an associate professor at the central campus of the university. He has studied the characteristics of the firm and the impact of macroeconomic variables on the share returns of Nepali companies. Shrestha had received a full scholarship from the University Grants Commission for his doctorate. The university had called for admission for the first time in May 2075 BS.
Prof. Dr. Deep Bahadur Rawal, Dean of the Faculty of Management presided over the research, which was attended by professors from various universities in Nepal and India. According to the Dean's Office, Sodh Bhaibhama Prof. Dr. Narayan Prasad Poudel, Pre-Evaluator Prof. Dr. Radheshyam Pradhan, Research Director Prof. Dr. Rajan Bahadur Poudel, Research Co-Director Prof. Dr. Pushkar Bajracharya, External Research Evaluator Prof. Dr. Anjani Kumar Malviya, External Research Evaluator Prof. Dr. Saday Hamal, Prof. Dr. Chandra Prasad Rijal , Research Committee Member Dr. Amrit Kumar Sharma Gare were present.
