Two Menpower operators have been arrested for defrauding Nepali youth by sending them for foreign employment.
The police team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested two people, including the owner of Oso Recruiting Manpower located in Old Baneshwar, Kathmandu, on the charge of cheating by sending them to Saudi Arabia for foreign employment.
Those arrested are 42-year-old Lakshman Vishwa of Nawalparasi (West) Bardghat Municipality and 40-year-old Sophie Malla of Roshi Rural Municipality-10 Kavre, said the spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Rabindra Regmi.
They were arrested based on the victim's complaint after they took Rs.125,000 and said that they would send Ombabu Shah to Saudi Arabia.
They have been sent to the Foreign Employment Department for further investigation and action.
