Journalist Kalpana Maharjan, the world record climber of Mount Everest, invited the women of Kathmandu Valley to wall climb on the occasion of Teej Festival. She has done In the Pasang Lhamu Sports Climbing in Dhumbarahi of the capital, inviting people from different fields to participate.
Women were made to climb during the one-week Teej on the Wall program with the slogan of 'Culture and Courage Together'. She said that the week-long Teej on the Wall was started with the aim of celebrating Teej in a different way.
The program was organised by Mountain Adventurer Support Academy. Exerence Outdoor Nepal managed the event. Climber Kalpana Maharjan has been doing this for a few years now.
On the occasion of Nepali Teej, she is teaching the new generation the importance of Nepali culture and inspiring them to be adventurous.
