Mha Puja, which signifies New year in Newari culture, was celebrated across the nation on November 5, 2021. During Mha puja, people worship the god they believe is present in their souls This ritual is done for the purification and empowerment of the soul as a part of New Year celebration.
During this festival, people from the Newar community worship themselves which also believes that people will learn to understand and respect one’s existence and role in this world.
