Cricket Association of Nepal-CAN is operating this cricket ground on lease with Tribhuvan University. Initially, this ground was built with the investment of Indian Television Zee TV. Sports Minister Birajbhakta Shrestha informed the meeting of the National Assembly today that the installation of flood lights is a priority of the government for this cricket stadium, which has been conducting various important international cricket tournaments.
