People's lives in Kathmandu have been affected due to continuous rain since last night.
Snowfall occurred in the morning in the famous Chandragiri hills as well. Along with the snowfall, phone services in most places have also been affected.
Schools were seeing lesser students attending classes in the past few weeks due to the dropping temperatures in the valley. The rainfall has added to their plight. Parents are concerned about their kids catching a cold and the attendance has decreased even further in schools as a result.
Transportation services have also been affected due to the rain. Public transport, Pathao riders, and motorcycles usually cause huge traffic jams throughout the valley. This was not the issue today, since many of them have not operated as there are fewer passengers today.
