Police are seeking a man who is wanted in connection with the killings of two people and the wounding of a third in Southern California earlier this week.
The Banning Police Department received a report of gunfire and people running shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday. One man was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot injuries, the department said in a Facebook post.
Two other victims, a man and a woman, were discovered at a hospital suffering from gunshot wounds related to the incident. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital but the man was in stable condition.
Dorian Alexander Francisco, 22, is being sought as the suspect in the shooting. Police said he is considered armed and dangerous.
Banning is a city in the San Gorgonio Pass — also known as the Banning Pass — that sits between the San Bernardino Mountains and the San Jacinto Mountains. It’s more than 75 miles (120.70 kilometers) east of downtown Los Angeles.
