6.9 magnitude earthquake hits Kermadec Island, New Zealand
According to the US Geological Survey, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake occurred on New Zealand's Kermadec Island at 6:41 a.m. on Saturday.
It is said that the epicenter of the earthquake at a depth of 151.6 km was initially located at 29.874 degrees south latitude and 178.431 degrees west longitude. Detailed information about the impact of the earthquake is yet to be made public.
