After visiting Switzerland, President Ramchandra Paudel arrived in the capital Berlin on Saturday night for a visit to Germany. He came to Germany from Geneva with First Lady Savita Paudel from Royal Dutch Airlines.
He was welcomed by the Nepali Ambassador to Germany, Ramkaji Khadka, embassy staff and officials of the Federal Republic of Germany's President's Office.
President Paudel has reached Berlin to pay an official visit to Germany at the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. He will hold formal talks with his German counterpart on June 17, according to the President's personal secretariat.
In Germany, President Paudel is scheduled to visit Postdam Institute for Climate Impact Research Institute, German Research for Geo-Science, Telegraffenwerg Campus.In addition, there is a program to visit other areas as well.
Today, he is scheduled to address the Nepali community in Germany.
President Paudel will return home on June 19 after completing his visit.
