Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to meet at Hyderabad House today. Prime Minister Deuba arrived in New Delhi on Friday on a three-day official visit at the friendly invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Deuba will hold separate talks with his Indian counterpart Modi at the Hyderabad House. After the formal bilateral talks, Prime Minister Deuba and Modi are scheduled to launch the Janakpur-Jayanagar train. Similarly, there is a program to jointly inaugurate more than 130 health posts constructed with Indian assistance after the earthquake in Nepal. Bilateral discussions will be held to reach an agreement on the purchase of electricity produced in Nepal and surplus to Nepal.
They are also scheduled to exchange bilateral agreements and issue a joint press statement by the Prime Minister. After that, the two prime ministers are scheduled to address a joint press conference. Also, Indian Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to host a luncheon in honour of the delegation including Prime Minister Deuba.
Prime Minister Deuba will have a meeting with Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at 4.30 pm today. Prime Minister Deuba will interact with the Indian business community this evening.
