The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the Saudi Government has decided that workers working in the private sector will not be allowed to work outside in direct sunlight from 15 June to 15 September 2023 from 12 noon to 3 am. If any company or employer is found to have violated the decision, legal action will be taken against such company or employer.
It has also been stated that if any company or employer makes or forces any worker to work outside in direct sunlight for a period of time from 12 noon to 3 a.m., then a complaint can be made by calling the Saudi Ministry of Labor's toll-free number 19911.
