The COVID vaccination drive will start in the Kathmandu district. The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has urged people aged 18 years and above to be vaccinated at the earliest.
Here is a list of vaccination centers in Kathmandu:
Armed Police Force, Birendra Army Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Hospital, Paropakar Maternity Hospital, Sahid Memorial Hospital, Lhotse Building New Buspark, Bir hospital, Vayodha Hospital, Civil Servants Hospital, and Apex Polyclinic. These hospitals will provide COVID vaccines from 10 AM to 3 PM, according to MoHP.
Likewise, this is the list of vaccination centers in Lalitpur:
Patan Hospital, Chawa Bahal Public Health Branch and Sainbu Health Post, Godawari Municipality-based Bajrabarahi and Chapagaun Hospital, Badegaun Primary Health Centre, and Lele Health Post, Mahalaxmi Municipality-based Lubhu Primary Health Center, Imadol Health Post, Bagmati Rural Municipality-based Bhattedada Health Post, Konjosom RM-based Chaughare Health Post, and Mahankal RM-based Gotikhel Health Post.
Meanwhile, the vaccination centers in Bhaktapur district are:
Nepal-Korea Friendly Hospital will provide COVID vaccine on Wednesday and Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM whereas Khwopa hospital will give COVID vaccine from 10 AM to 1 PM on regular basis except on holidays.
Meanwhile, 3,518,328 people have been administered the first dose of Covishield vaccines and 2,177,711 have been vaccinated with the booster dose. Likewise, 7,274,755 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the Vero Cell vaccine while 5,279,278 others have received the second dose as of December 9, 2021, the Ministry's data showed. Likewise, a total of 53,836 persons — 5,969 in Province 1; 6,871 in Province 2; 26,416 in Bagmati Province; 3,391 in Gandaki Province; 5,300 in Lumbini Province, 2,187 in Karnali Province, and 3,702 in Sudurpaschim Province — have been vaccinated with Pfizer vaccines. Meanwhile, 1,601,593 citizens have been inoculated with Janssen and Janssen vaccines across the country.
