Hospital to be built with the help of German citizens

A well-equipped hospital is to be built in Lotting of Vila Gaonpalika-5 Chilakha of Dolakha.

It is said that a team of German citizens and health workers will raise financial support for the construction of the hospital through an organization called Health Nepal. The hospital will be operated under Chatraleshwari Community Health Center, said Praveen Khadka, chairman of the center. According to him, the building will have a 21-room building with various well-equipped machine tools. He said the building would be designed by a team of German engineers. The construction of the building is estimated to cost Rs. 38.7 million.

According to Khadka, the building will be constructed under the leadership of Chiring Sherpa and his wife Sophia, a German citizen doctor, and Klaus, who are currently living in Germany. According to him, about 6 ropanis of land required for the hospital will be brought in the name of the organization. He said that two ropanis of Eko Himal and half a ropani were donated by Jenny Khadka.

The remaining land was purchased from locals with the money collected from 29 donors, said Chairman Khadka. The construction of the hospital will benefit more than 10,000 people in wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Vigu village municipality in the northern part of the district, said Ishwor Khadka, health coordinator of the municipality. Chief of the District Coordinating Committee, Double Pandey, said that the construction of such a hospital in a very remote area of ​​the district was a matter of great joy for the local people.

"It is the responsibility of the local government to provide financial and technical assistance for the construction of the hospital," he said. The hospital will be built 44 kilometers north of the district headquarters Charikot.
