The government is providing Vitamin A and deworming medicine to children from today till tomorrow throughout the country.
Children from 6 months to 5 years of age will be given Vitamin A and children from 1 to 5 years of age will be given anti-worm drug in 753 local levels throughout the country informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Every year Vitamin A and deworming drugs are provided on the 20th and 21st of October, while this year the campaign has been postponed due to Dashain. The campaign will be held on the 24th and 25th of October.
The ministry has requested all to follow COVID health safety protocols while going for Vitamins.
