One person has died after being crushed by a Singus bite near Talghare, Beas Municipality-1 in Tanahun, Prithviraj Highway.
Yuvraj Khadka, spokesperson of District Police Office Tanahun, informed that the deceased is 67-year-old Ganga Prasad Subedi, a resident of Beas Municipality-11.
He said that Subedi, who was badly injured by the stingray all over his body, died during treatment at Damauli Hospital.
Another 6 people were injured when the Singers in the Simal tree were bitten. The injured are being treated at Damauli Hospital.
The doctors involved in the treatment said that the deceased Subedi was bitten by more than 200 stingrays.
