Police have arrested 10 people on the charge of leaking the question paper of BE Second Semester Physics subject of Purbanchal University.
The arrestees have been identified as Komal Prasad Gautam (44) of Biratnagar Metropolitan-8, Gopal Karki (35) of Sankhuwasabha Madi Municipality-6, Bijay Pokhrel (30) of Rupandehi Tilochan Municipality-12, Min Prasad Bhatt (32) of Gorkha Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-1, Bharat Pathan (31) of Gorkha Gandagi Rural Municipality-3, Bikash Khadka (26) of Gorkha Municipality-4, Nirmal Khadka (28) of Sindhupalchowk Bahrabise Municipality-4, Nanipath Mandal (29) of Mahottari Ramgopal Municipality-9, Jiban Kumar Yadav (29) of Saptari Bodebarsain Municipality-7, and Mahesh Yadav (26) of Saptari Krishnasawaran Rural Municipality-5 currently residing in Bhaktapur, Lokanthali.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from District Police Office, Morang arrested them while investigating those university staff in charge of photocopying university documents, who had put up the question paper on various social media sites.
According to the District Police Office, Morang, further investigation is underway against them as per the Education Act, 2028 BS
