Nineteen people were injured after a passenger carrying bus plunged at Dasdhunga along the Narayanghat-Muglin road section early this morning.
The bus met with an accident at 5:20 today at Dasdhunga of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 on its way to Kathmandu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit said. As many as 40 passengers were travelling by the bus coming from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa.
The bus fell 10 meteres off the road after losing control, police added.
Likewise, 18 injured persons are receiving treatment in different hospitals in Chitwan district while an individual has been referred to Kathmandu for treatment, according to police.
